Welcome to Baleka Events!!!

We are fun loving, bike crazy folks who love to meet likeminded people. Since we love to show off our beautiful country and it’s colourful people, we thought it good to combine this with motorcycling or minibus transport – a real thrill and adrenaline rush on our good roads !!!

We leave evenings open for you to dine at places of your choice and relax at our local cinemas and shopping malls or pubs in the harbors.

Your guide goes off duty at 18H00 but the minibus can be booked for transport to these places or you can enquire at your accommodation for the local taxi service called- “the Cab”.

To us, having a fun holiday is more important than getting all the facts and history.

We want everyone to enjoy South Africa, whether on a shoestring- or a gold chain budget.

I need to add that I am a qualified tour guide registered with the DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS AND TOURISM (DEAT). I have lived around Cape Town and the Garden Route all my life (40 odd years), spent 15 years as a policeman and have been in a transport business since 1997. With me, you need not fear the criminal – I deal with them swiftly!

CEDERBERG

Wellington
Abuzz with award-winning wine cellars, loads of bargain shops, outdoor adventures, including beautiful mountain hikes and mountain bike trails.  The Hawequa Mountains wears a white coat when first snow falls and the historical Bain’s Kloof Pass provides some of the best vantage points to view the winter spectacular.  Wellington’s exquisite natural beauty is complemented by the hospitality of the local people.

The town is an architectural jewel, with many Cape Dutch and Victorian buildings of which more than 20 declared historical National Monuments.

Ceres
Ceres is named after the Roman goddess of fruitfulness and is the center of one of the most important deciduous fruit producing areas in South Africa.  Pre-arranged guided tours to fruit farms and fruit factories can be arranged.

The town is situated 140km or 90 minutes’ drive from Cape Town, and is surrounded by mountains, sheltering it completely from the southeasterly wind in summer.  Ceres is fortunate to have more than 230 sunny days per year, which makes it an ideal tourist destination.  Ceres caters for all types of visitors.

Tulbagh
Stylish white Cape Dutch buildings in an exquisite mountain setting define this lovely, historical town.
Explore the upper valley of the Little Berg River for its wine cellars and estates.

Cederberg
The Cederberg Conservancy lies some 200km north of Cape Town and encompasses some 162 000 hectare of rugged mountainous terrain stretching from the Pakhuis Pass to Grootrivier in the south.

The Cederberg is so diverse in form and structure, so valuable for its plants and animals and Bushman paintings so unique in its landscape, that any nature lover, hiker or mountaineer will find its opportunities and challenges difficult to exhaust..
